Appleyard & Trew are providing cost management services for the new arts, music and performance building, as part of the first phase of the University’s £575 million Estate Masterplan. Located within the heart of the existing Peel Park Campus, the construction of the new state of the art facility has begun on site, with a completion date of late Summer 2015.

UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER 3 YEAR APPOINTMENT

UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER’S PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT FRAMEWORK

Successful bid to provide quantity surveying services to the University for their 3-year Framework period.  Projects undertaken currently include the Whitworth Organ Refurbishment (£220,000), HR Relocaion Project - Simon Building (£450,000), Museum’s Nature Library (£150,000), The Mill Laboratory Refurbishment (£64,000), DSE Owens Park Fire Alarms (£509,858), John Rylands Library Controls Upgrade (£150,000) and Microbiology (£180,000).

 

A CLEARER VISION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER

£4.25 MILLION SCHEME COMPLETED

Successful completion of the £4.25 million scheme at the School of Optometry and MHS, incorporating the refurbishment and extension of the existing six-storey building, to provide new offices, examination rooms and teaching laboratories for its Optometry department.

21ST CENTURY GALLERY IN THE PARK

WHITWORTH ART GALLERY FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER

Construction has begun on the first phase of the University’s capital development project for the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester.  Appleyard & Trew are appointed by the University of Manchester as Cost Consultants for development to create a 21st Century Gallery in the Park.
