COMMITTED TO ACHIEVING NET-ZERO CARBON
Appleyard & Trew is committed to minimising the impacts our business activities have on the environment and these principles are embedded in our core company values. As the next part of our journey, we have commissioned a Carbon Reduction Plan which been independently produced and verified by Litmus Sustainability Ltd. This plan is compliant with PPN 06/21.
For transparency and accountability, our Carbon Reduction Plan is publicly accessible here.
WORKING TOGETHER FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE
Our employees are passionate about taking ownership of our environmental impacts and we help to embed a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration in our project teams. We have appointed Associate Partner, Lynsay Robinson, as our in-house sustainability and social value champion to lead on these measures going forward. Our near-term priority is working to improve the quality of data we are collecting for emissions reporting, particularly for our fleet and building utilities.
Through our new commitment, we have:
WORKING TO MAKE THE SUSTAINABLE, ATTAINABLE.
We are also working with all our clients to understand the current issues faced within ongoing or upcoming projects, helping to unlock sustainable aspirations, and facilitate a masterplan for delivery. This includes the ability to work with our network of funding partners to help source sustainable funding which helps us to drive projects and ensure long term betterment of buildings. We have been successful in delivering this method of support to various projects.
