St Mary’s Churchyard Project

Appleyard & Trew are appointed as Quantity Surveyors by the London Borough of Southwark on the £6 million revitalisation of the existing park. The park is 55 hectares in total and this project represented phase 1 of an overall masterplan programme for the park.

The new works comprised complete restoration of the existing park and included:

  • Granite paving
  • Fountain water feature and pond
  • Bespoke curved wall
  • Street furniture
  • Soft landscaping
  • Resin bound paving

 

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
• Winner of the BALI National Award in category “Mainly Hard Landscaping Construction”
• Phase 1 – Rearrangement and revitalisation of Children’s Play area
• Phase 2 – Rearrangement and revitalisation of adjacent park access routes and associated landscaping works.
