THOMAS HARDYE LEISURE
The Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre is a new 3,075m² facility providing additional sport and leisure amenities on the outskirts of Dorchester. The project was carried out on behalf of Dorset County Council but has multiple Stakeholders, including Dorset District Council, Thomas Hardye School (which is adjacent to the site), and the Duchy of Cornwall whose Poundbury Estate is adjacent to the proposed development.

The new building was constructed adjacent to the existing leisure centre which remained in operation throughout, and is later being developed to satisfy the functional needs of the local community as well as meeting the aesthetic aspirations of the Duchy of Cornwall.
