St Mary’s Guildhall, Coventry
Appleyard & Trew are proud to have been appointed by Coventry City Council as PM & QS for the refurbishment, restoration and extension of the Grade I listed St Mary’s Guildhall, Coventry, to improve facilities and visitor experience.
St Marys is of great significance, showing the importance of the city during the medieval period, with the medieval kitchen being recognised as one of the hidden parts of Coventry’s history. The Great Hall houses the ‘Coventry Tapestry’ which was manufactured in around 1500 and is widely regarded as one of the rarest and most important examples of this art in the country.
