Great to see the Grade II* listed Annex building at Ashton Old Baths being brought back to its former glory. Strip out works are well advanced with original features exposed and retained as part of the project. These works follow the previous successful refurbishment and conversion of the Main Pool Hall Into office hub space.

Appleyard & Trew are proud to have been appointed by Coventry City Council as PM & QS for the refurbishment, restoration and extension of the Grade I listed St Mary’s Guildhall, Coventry, to improve facilities and visitor experience.

St Marys is of great significance, showing the importance of the city during the medieval period, with the medieval kitchen being recognised as one of the hidden parts of Coventry’s history. The Great Hall houses the ‘Coventry Tapestry’ which was manufactured in around 1500 and is widely regarded as one of the rarest and most important examples of this art in the country.

A five year project is coming to a close as the National Trust’s Quarry Bank Mill has been refurbished. 
A 5 phase programme where Mark Newton of Appleyard & Trew provided Quantity Surveying services, part funded by the HLF.
