Redevelopment of the Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry to provide a new 50m competition pool built within the footprint of former indoor football barn; the new pool will include a submersible boom and two floating floors to provide maximum flexibility together with incorporating the requirements of the swimming and water polo clubs; works include extending the existing fitness and function facilities on the site and refurbishing the existing dryside changing and entrance area.

Horsham District Council have developed a new leisure facility on the site of an existing centre at Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, West Sussex. The existing centre remained in operation during the construction of the new site, and was demolished once the new centre became operational. The new build centre is a major dry side facility and compliments the leisure provision at the Pavilions, Horsham and surrounding towns.

INDOOR BMX CENTRE

Appleyard & Trew were appointed by Manchester City Council to provide Quantity Surveyor and CDM services for their new Indoor BMX Centre and associated public realm works, located adjacent to the Manchester Velodrome.  The new building is 14,350m² and includes a 100m x 70m BMX track, spectator seating areas, areas for riders, officials and media.  A newly created link between the Velodrome created space for new reception area, administration offices, café and office accommodation for British Cycling.
